After Hurricane Ike, we were without power for 14 days. I never wanted my family to go thru that again. Generator Power Systems took care of everything from getting the necessary permits, installing the unit, getting the inspections, and teaching us about the operation of the generator. It was great the other night having the generator when we had a lighting storm and the power kept going out and coming back on.  The generator kicked in once.  Finally the family got tired of their TV programs being interrupted, watching the cable box reboot every time for over a minute, so I just switched over to the generator power till the storm was over and everyone was happy.  Worked very well. Following the last 'rolling blackout' power shortages here in Montgomery, I called Generator Power Systems.  Jim Fish came the next day, did a careful investigation and wrote a proposal. As soon as it was approved, a team of electricians re-wired the house, installed the necessary hardware. After showing me how to check the generator, Jim called several times to make sure it was working as advertised. When a glitch showed up in other generators of a similar type, his team showed up and did a preventive addition to mine and added a Hobbs meter so I could keep track of hours it ran. I would heartily endorse anyone's use of this fine company. They were swift, professional and left the area clean as a whistle.
