Don’t let that ordinary exterior fool you. The transfer switch plays a pivotal role in making sure you’re never powerless again. When power goes out in your neighborhood, the transfer switch is what puts the “automatic” in your standby power system.
Sensing a loss of power, the transfer switch starts the generator and switches over designated circuits to it. Later, when it senses power is restored the transfer switch returns circuits back to the utility provider and shuts down the generator.
Because no two installations are the same, there is a variety of transfer switches available from Generator Power Systems. Our custom configuration of your system will include the transfer switch best suited to your specific needs.
